Ken Garff - Road to Success Program!

Road To Success Program - www.kengarffroad.com/

Reading is essential to every child’s educational success. That’s why the Ken Garff Automotive Group, KSL 5 Television, KSL Newsradio , and the Governor, and the First Lady joined together to create the “Ken Garff Road to Success.” The program’s goal is to have every child read (or be read to) twenty minutes every day. Young readers at participating elementary schools will set their own objectives and measure their performance. By reading 20 minutes everyday they acquire 100 minutes (at least) weekly to enter their name into a drawing. Those who meet their goals will receive prizes along the way. At the end of the school year, students will be eligible to win one of four bicycles of their very own. Please join us in helping young readers learn the most valuable skill they can acquire early in their educational experience – help them learn to read!

This is just one of the amazing programs Ken Garff heads in your community...here is another!

Ken Garff Keys to Success Program - http://www.kengarffkeys.com/

What is the Ken Garff Keys to Success Program?

The Governor’s Office, in conjunction with Ken Garff Automotive Group, is please to announce its far-reaching incentive-based program for high-school students called “Keys to Success.” This innovative program provides administrators, faculty and staff members with the tools to motivate students to achieve academic success.

Here's How The Program Works

The Keys to Success program is administered through each participating high school. Students have the chance to qualify for a Key Card that entitles them to incentive awards from several sponsors. The local high school administration is responsible for the exact [Free Stuff Rocks!] qualifications, which may include improvement in any of the following areas:

1. Academics

2. Class Attendance

3. Service

4. Citizenship

5. Other Areas Teacher Sees Fit

A Key Card is in actuality, a gift certificate of sorts. The recipient of a Key Card can access this website (see Prizes) and choose from a myriad of tickets or vouchers for participation in any number of events. Teachers, Administration and Counselors can nominate recipients throughout the school year.

The best part of the program happens at the end of the school year. This is where the Free Car comes in! During the last two months of school, the school administration, teachers and counselors may assemble and select 50 students from the pool of Key Card recipients at that school. These selected students will then randomly compete for a chance to win a car (valued at $5,000 to $7,000) at a Keys to Success year-end assembly.
